  • You won't believe it, Buffy Fish is owl of the year.

  • Columbia?

  • Two internets, the regular one taken over by companies like what is happening now, and wider adoption of tor or something like it.

Then lots of local and community networks air gapped from the internet.

  • That's why when I saw the long list of side effects of the medication for quit smoking I never read it, I gave it to a friend and ask her if whatever was one of the possible side effects.

  • Being a less attractive target than your neighbours, either by being a bigger hassle or by looking like there's nothing worth stealing.

  • That last part is what is catching my attention the most.Does that mean that those domains can only be seen through their dns servers? Or just registered through them and everyone can see them?

Looks like using any other dns only has down sides.

  • If there is no way to answer that question you could have started saying so and then explain why, that would have been a much better answer.

  • Question: what incentive is there?Answer: incentives! (But in plural)

  • Repeating the first line of text doesn't help much. I've heard of DNS servers, but root? This is the first time. I'm trying to read about it and still can't see the difference.

  • What is that? I've read most of the thing and I still don't have a clue.

  • I think I'm still seeding a Lubuntu from a couple of months ago, I don't remember deleting it. I'll check later.

Edit: I just checked, it's been there for a little less than a month, I really thought it was longer, it has a ratio of 5.32 not bad for something that many seeds.

  • That reminded me a thing that the dad of one friend used to do to entertain us.

Knight Rider was big on TV, he used to tell us that his car instead of turbo boost it had ashtray turbo, then he proceeded to close the ashtray while stomping on the gas pedal. We went nuts.

  • What is the source? I'm not allowed to see it without an account.

  • They dumb down their shows because I'm on the phone and I'm on the phone because their shows are so dumb that I get bored.

Soon they will reinvent the radio drama, but on TV with a story board or something.

  • When it is about to die, then I buy the best one I can find for less than 300€ in second hand or refurbished. It is easy to find 4 year old flagships.

  • I used to have the music as a ringtone, it was fun to see the looks of those that recognised it and we shared a smile.

  • I used to do it back then, as soon as I got home I turned the TV on. It was like having the radio on with the difference that you could watch it when you heard something interesting. I think I stopped doing it when started to appear more themed channels, so the regular channels had less variation in their programming.

  • Maybe using proton like if it was a game.

  • If one of the requirements is to run windows that leaves me out.
