  • Yea. You can go 3 weeks without trimming and it just looks kinda full. You can go one day before a clean shave looks like you don't care about it.

  • Where getter?

  • For years people have known it can’t be upgraded. You know that going in.

Not sure that is true, lots of people see the marketing for a MacBook and think that any of them will be enough. Or see the price difference and think they are getting a good deal, or don't understand why that is. I've had to tell people, sorry I know you spent a lot of money on this, but it does not have the storage for what you are wanting to do. Yes, the only way is to buy another one.

Otherwise yea, everyone tries to gaslight customers into thinking they didn't get ripped off.

  • Opposite sides can see the moon simultaneously. It will be for a shorter period, but for all two points on the earth there should be at least a single time per moon orbit that the moon is visible by both at the same instant.

  • It's all allocated, but not all those allocations are for routing on the internet. Eg private ranges, localhost space, multicast, experimental ranges. Unfortunately you can't repurpose those ranges as there is already kit out there that is hard coded to treat them a particular way.

  • I use it with WAC on my home server and it's good enough for anything I need to do. Easy to create VMs using that UI, PS not even needed.

  • Aka people who just plugged it in and left it as long as it works. These are not the kind of people who would have done anything if informed that they had an issue. On one hand I don't like the idea of governments fixing private property, but they were never going to be fixed by the owner.

  • My reason for not using them is that they tend to be overly aggressive in what they remove. I only need a few reg tweaks and denying permissions on a few files. These often go whole hog and remove whole components, almost all apps etc. I actually use one drive, I don't want its files also removed.

  • Ok, so yea just a "better" version of runas. I can see it being a bit easier when you just need to do the one thing as admin, but overall just opening an admin windows is still going to be the best way.

I really think the security issues makes it not worth enabling.

  • For real, I've had problems where I specifically checked if it was DNS, concluded it was not, but it still turned out to be DNS.

  • Last time I did this domain accounts needed to include their domain/upn to logon, so there won't be any account confusion. However if they were accessing the nas from a domain joined machine, it would use Kerberos anyway so shouldn't be getting prompted to logon. Obviously that is only for SMB shares, other connection types didn't use Kerberos.

  • Sounds like they are better off that way. Anyone who thinks that is important is probably not worth it.

  • For real, at the minimum use a virtual machine.

  • Look for usb floppy emulators, you can have the floppy images in a usb flash drive. No moving parts or need to find expensive floppies.
