What are they even trying to say? That a young lesbian would just be considered trans instead? I'm pretty sure the exact fucking opposite is true. Nearly every trans person I know much about or have known a long time went through a "gay/lesbian phase" first. I imagine that's changed over time (I'm kinda old), but I really doubt anyone is trying to force young lesbians to be trans or something.
Fuck I hate this shit so much. I just want us to be able to exist and be left alone like everyone else. I wish the mold was deadlier.
Our landlady posts a bunch of "don't put me in a nursing home" content and I'm lowkey trying to get her kids to put her in a nursing home. Finally moving out of this fucking place in a couple of weeks. Never rent a place where the owner lives next door, it's a nightmare. I prefer the faceless corporations.
Anyway, this made me think of the kind of shit she posts.
I made it way too deep into those replies. Why do I do this to myself? Anyway, there's one reply in there that says something about capitalist inventions and uses fertilizer as an example. Fritz Haber figured out how to get ammonia from nitrogen in the atmosphere or whatever (chemistry magic). Then the Nazis used that research to create Zyklon B.
Also it's not like we didn't have fertilizer before that, just not synthetic and concentrated. Also also, agriculture under capitalism is garbage compared to most approaches that don't involve profit chasing. Pesticides have done near irreversible damage as well. Like fuck me at least use an example that isn't easily connected to the Holocaust.
Any time I see an anti-communist they always equate it to fascism and then say all the shit I expect a fascist to say.
I was already in my 30s in 2016 and already radicalized, but I still enjoyed seeing so many people move left. I had probably 10 friends/acquaintances tell me I was right after Bernie got ratfucked. More than a few are fully radicalized now.
As a teen I was mostly politically ignorant with an incoherent ideology. The internet was young then and I learned a few things, but not enough to really understand anything beyond "fuck these rich people".
I floated around studying ideologies without really committing to anything until my mid 20s when I realized I was genuinely a socialist/communist and it wasn't just a joke. I still flirted with anarchism for a few years, but eventually I realized there was no hope for anything short of a heavily organized vanguard party.
I still think it's funny that one of the main reasons I moved further left is because rightwingers kept calling me a socialist/communist/radical leftist/etc. I only studied it in-depth because of that.
Many teams in major American professional sports get publicly owned, like the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. But only the Green Bay Packers are publicly owned.
I've found that a lot of the larger companies, big international corporations with layers and layers of people between any one decision, no one really cares as long as everyone plays along and says the right things. The line goes up or they do layoffs and then the line goes up. That's all it ever seems to be. They would rather people say nothing negative and do terrible work slowly than try to improve anything about the working environment.
Even productivity can't be analysed critically without everyone thinking you're trying to topple the entire company or something.
That lib from the other day was telling everyone to read a history book and someone mentioned how a lot of us have read the Jakarta Method and that fucking lib had never even heard of it
I hope you spent some time thinking about this comment and actually read the other replies. No investigation, no right to speak.
