  • pixel besties is diabolical

  • yeah i love RON, I hope a libre version of it gets made...

  • Thanks for the list! Urban Terror is a lot like Counter-strike but on steroids, bhopping is unbelievably buff, and it's a bit faster paced than ideal. I'm ready to accept that there might not be the right game out there for me yet, but I appreciate the suggestions you've provided.

  • By tactical, I mean slower paced, usually with a lower time-to-kill and a higher emphasis on strategy.

  • Tactical as in slower paced, more strategic. SWAT4, Ready or Not, Arma, and R6 Siege come to mind.

  • Yes, I've played it before. Real fun game but not quite tactical.

  • A Compilation of the Games I've Found

    • Tremulous (and forks)An asymmetric multiplayer game where you can either play as an alien or a soldier hunting the alien. Forks are Tremfusion and Unvanquished, with unvanquished being the most modern of the three. Tactical but not quite in the way I'm looking for

    • Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory and ET:LegacyET Legacy is a client for ET, and it brings modern features to it. Both are pretty fast paced and not very tactical.

    • ÜbergameIt looks pretty good for a libre game, and looks to play good too. About as tactical as ET.
  • Update: I found out that wolfenstein ET was released under the gplv3, so I'll check that out. not quite tactical but I like the game

  • Its a joke lmao no need to take it so seriously.

  • I tend to buy business devices because they often contain less bloat or gimmicky features.

  • I disagree, if this chip is anything like Knox protection, it will self-destruct if tripped, which is intentional to prevent the rom dev from making use of it.

  • Alternate title: Making the iPhone usable

  • Just another worthless feature that's broken if you install a custom rom.

  • Before you proceed, we'll want to know the specific model number of your device to make sure you download the right version of software.

  • First off, rooting your tablet will prevent OTA(Over-the-air) updating in most situations, but it's not impossible to get updates. There are ways to acquire new updates and manually flash them, but that will be more difficult than normal. It also should be noted that the A7 Lite is nearing EOL, so it might not even need to be updated soon. If you want to proceed, here are the initial steps.

First step is to unlock the bootloader. This will void the warranty of your device.

Assuming you are on OneUI 6:

    • Go to Settings>About tablet>Software information
    • Tap build number a whole lot, then enter your password(if applicable)
    • Close and re-open the settings app, then scroll down and click on Developer options. Then scroll down and toggle on "OEM Unlocking." If you can't find it, your tablet may be doomed to not be rooted unfortunately, as some carriers hide the option to unlock the bootloader(e.g. Verizon in the US).

That guide is according to my phone running OneUI 6, so it should be accurate to your Tab A7 lite.

If you have any issues, I can try to resolve them.

  • And lowers the bar for overheating and longevity.

  • Tragically, it appears no custom roms are available for the Key⊪2. It's an interesting concept, however.

  • Fortunately the 6p's bootlooping is fixed by talented developers, all you need to do is flash a new kernel.

  • Maybe in a few years the 9 will be a good option when the price goes down. It will keep the software support,
