  • Apart from the obvious issues with this, local platforms is more appealing to me. I'm sure every non-US citizen is annoyed by platforms made by people in the US that clearly don't understand how things work in your country, plus the fact that all these platforms do is make US billionaires richer.

  • I've got a whole powershell script I run these days on a new Windows install to remove eveything I don't need and set things how I like them

  • Sure, a lot of people can do that. A lot of people absolutely can't, too. A lot of people can look up and solve computer issues too, and a lot of people can't. It's not a generational thing or specific to computers.

  • I believe detached mode refers to having the wired switch act independently from the light, so what you want is attached mode
