  • Yes, China is sending many solar panels and other renewable tech to Cuba. But not quickly enough to avoid a major collapse of the power grid in the short term. They still need oil.

  • Before giving me a lecture, how about looking at the source? It's not the New York Post, its the Middle East Eye, a very reputable and non- MSM source. Knee-jerk responses are really not helpful.

  • Yeah, I just tried with my Lemmy account and got the same "could not fetch" message.Looks like Mastodon and PeerTube accounts can subscribe, based on this screenshot I just did. So I guess try to use a Mastodon account, or just get your own account on a PeerTube server. Sorry.

  • I'm new with Peertube, so I will need to check, but I think that it doesn't accept email addresses at all. It is looking for a Fediverse address, like your Lemmy one, or Mastodon, etc. Give that a try and let me know. :-)
