Haha, because I’m lazy and going with the fastest, safe way to reboot when I get stuck.

!!! I just learned about this recently because my PC has an Nvidia GPU and it sometimes wakes up from sleeping to a blank screen with just the mouse cursor showing.

I try that REISUB first but if that doesn’t do anything, I have to go to Ctrl-Alt-F3 and do “sudo reboot”.

Linux is fun except for when it’s not.

Ohhh, don’t sweat it! Your take is spot on (IMO) but life’s too short to worry about whether you appreciate all the art that’s out there.

I believe most artists would still create their art even if they knew nobody else would ever see it. It’s baked into our genes to express ourselves, to create.

But indeed, thank you artists for all the beautiful things.

This being non-representational, it’s not like a visual story being told. Nobody should try to interpret this for you, IOW. It’s more about feelings and impressions and an overall gut reaction. A human trying to express themself. If you don’t “vibe with this”, then it’s just not for you.

Most all art made after 1970 doesn’t do anything for me, for instance. I still look and post what I can, every so often. I just liked this painting for the blues and the way the artists used the little blocks of paint.
