  • This is my point reiterated. I don't like newsom either, but i would vote for him 1x10^100 if he were the candidate in the general. The "he is being normalized" shit is why the left loses all the time. Complain about him, but don't assume enough centrists wont vote for him in the primaries for him to be the general candidate. I'm tired of people not voting, then bitching about the current administration.

  • And? Of course they are going to do this shit. Good people don't rise against great evil, sort of evil people use it to slither into power.

  • Redesigning the handle by 2027 is stupid easy. I have an masters in mechanical engineering, this could be done with mostly off the shelf parts. Tesla is being a bitch like normal.

  • This is a great example of "the left" being manipulated to turn on itself. Newsom ain't great but he is better than anything my former party Republicans put forth. If he makes it through the primaries, please for the love of Satan vote for him in the general. If Republicans win again it's completely over. If I were still one I'd be completely OK with so many worse things happening. Be more scared of what is yet to come than a groveling centrist like Newsom.

  • Our youngest had some form of measles before she could get the MMR vaccine. Wildest part was taking her to the hospital and no one knowing wtf to do. The doctors all basically shrugged and said good luck. She seems fine now 3 years later, but her immune system seems wildly fucked up. Like totally fine to some sicknesses and horrible responses to others.

Edit: I mean this in a, "It's Illegal to say what I want to do to you" way. If you don't get the MMR vaccine when you could've, you are directly responsible for my child's suffering. I want you to feel that suffering.

  • Most of the southeast in the US is in an early housing market collapse. New homes cost less than used inventory, which is a horrible sign. Inventory and time on market are also creeping up.

  • That's what nazis wanted in Germany. Mocking them is the only real way to stop them. More Portland frog people please.

  • The unmitigated disaster part existed under feudalism also. Capitalism is slowly turning back into feudalism, which is kinda why it sucks so much now. I hate capitalism, but feudalism was worse.

Fuedalism with a fuckload of democracy might work. But it always turns into a bloodline thing.

  • 👍

  • Don't remember or care.

  • You won't make another account. I labeled you a cuck almost a month ago, and it stands true.

  • People calling you a nazi sympathizer don't know that most people who actively participated as members of the German nazi party were 'normal' people. They lived normal lives, followed the law, and existed in normal society. In reality, most people supporting our current nazi problems will need to be deprogrammed and forcibly pulled back into an accepting society. Its what happened in Germany, not many nazis were charged with crimes.

  • I can do this too. It feels like I'm trying to flex my jaw muscles downwards. And makes that satisfying crackling noise when they open up.

  • I was thinking of GoT when I wrote this. It's similar, but GoT was so much worse.

  • The complete reversal of character development is what killed it for me as well. With the same ending and removing the reversal the ending is 100x better. Just let their growth mean something instead of pissing it all away.

  • I might be slowly turning into Jeff Bridges.

Edit: missed the joke. My opinions about windows are grounded in my own experience, obviously. I'm the 'wait for the first SP' person historically. 10 was the first time I was not excited to install a new operating system. Everything was behind shitty UI that took away simple functionality. Funny enough I'd go back to it over 11 lol.

  • I think it's good to be vigilant like this. But I don't see a path yet that leads to martial law. Maybe I'm confused about what I watched in 2016-2020, it's like a spicier fart of that period. They are waiting for an 'incident'. Unfortunately for them the news cycle is so fast that literal nazi rhetoric doesn't really work. Charlie is all but forgotten already, and that shit was insane imo.

  • I had a Nanny who was shocked to learn she missed out on extra pay because of Republicans killing that part of a prior tax bill. She voted for donald every time she could. She was shocked to learn about dems infrastructure bills. I felt like I was informing an idiot what the world looked like. Republican voters are completely misinformed about reality, no degree of "they should do this" will fix the voters being misinformed.

On a personal note. I let her life fall apart after donald won. She was struggling financially and I could've helped her, but I didn't. She should've pulled harder on her bootstraps.
