  • I have gotten similar responses about the quality of FSD from multiple people, even got the one from you that you have since deleted. Are you really this unoriginal and self important?

  • Interesting, I had not heard that, I just found the videos impressive.

  • People post YouTube content for every new build. It has gotten very good over the last year or so, even in cities. It still needs a bit of work but appears to drive almost human.

  • I do not have a Tesla but I am considering buying an EV. Teslas are the best EV, especially now that the self driving stuff works. Elon is the only thing steering me elsewhere.

Also, imagine buying one a few years ago and wanting to make the decision based on the technology or the environment. These people make a huge investment, possibly even with good intentions, and buying a new car is not cheap. Cut them a break.

  • I think it would depend on the level of the account. They have that feature for compliance reasons in heavily regulated industries.

  • Probably the first time they have paid attention to Skype.

  • Hey, this is Alex Jones, nuance and honestly aren't allowed /s

  • I was always more of a dos/win95 and then Linux person but I did appreciate the Apple vibe and what they were trying to do with their ecosystem in terms of usability. The Wintel monopoly was a scourge but you're right, Steve Jobs was also terrible.

  • They used to be cooler and their products have always provided a superior experience. They were counter culture in the 80s, 90s and 00s with their bluebox roots, anti-IBM/anti-Wintel marketing, tiny market share and focus on creators and education.

Now that they are successful they are essentially using Microsoft's old playbook and bullying everyone into using their products. Really makes me sad.

  • Only a matter of time before they move the goal posts again to protect their monopoly. Tim Cook is a bully.

  • It sucks, but at least it's in a centralized location. Back in the INI file days you'd have to set the config in various places. Which, come to think of it, is kind of how things work in Linux.

Related to the OPs problem, do you know if there is a Startup folder in Windows still? Back in the Windows 95 days we could just drag a BAT script to that folder and it would always run on login.

  • Refusing to see Biden's flaws is incredibly delusional. I understand a bit, running a new candidate could help Trump win. However, running a candidate with dementia will definitely help Trump win. We deserve a candidate with basic debate skills.

  • Registry keys are inferior but they do exist. The last time I used Windows I just had to set some magic reg keys and it was easy to make that happen.

  • That's nothing, she only got some many because there was barely anyone else running. Again, she does not share Biden's views. No way the Democrats nominate someone who is anti-vaccine.

  • I know. If anything they will nominate someone who shares Biden's views, not some crackpot who barely got any votes.

  • No, she isn't. She lost in the primary.

  • Seems entirely reasonable to me, depending on the country it costs them extra to route your calls overseas to another network.

  • How long did it take for them to turn it off?

  • I want a Boston Dynamics
