  • The whole article goes just as hard.

  • It actually runs fine. Fast loading. Full framerate. Zero glitching. Everything works as you jump off the battle bus.

Then you get kicked from the server before you hit the ground.

    That's not a Linux problem.

  • I would expect 8 of those 9 to be straight-up nubbed. Not worth the effort.

  • There's an old Monty Python sketch from 1967 that comes to mind when people ask a librarian for a book that doesn't exist.

    They predicted the future.

  • I eventually figured out that the Freesytle Libre will significantly underread if you sleep on it. I would recommend doing a finger prick test before acting upon what a CGM tells you to do.

  • Every malware infection and online scam I've dealt with in the last 15 years has used advertising as an attack vector. I block everything.

  • So they can't just write some probe code? It really can't be that hard to determine if there's support.

  • I'm with boomer. If you don't have sound, don't add any. You're not pianist and this is not a 1920s cinema.

  • Rego is weight-based, but it's utterly fucked.

My 900kg hatchback costs $149 more to register than a ute up to 4500kg out in the country.

In the city, the rego difference is $1.10.

What's worse, their FAQ says a lot of TAC claims for utes are paid by workcover, not the TAC. That's why it's cheaper.

...so people who purchase a roadblimp to use for school dropoffs are dodging the TAC charge, whilst being a much larger hazard than everyone else.

  • We should charge rego by weight and volume. We should measure safety by damage inflicted, not damage deflected.

  • Most? Dying is a mandatory requirement.

  • You'd have to block whatever DoH server it's using. They usually fall back to regular DNS. I've found that a Chromecast will use Google DNS, but will fall back to LAN DNS when blocked.

  • Victoria already has some amnesty bins that could be repurposed.

  • As much as I hate JIRA, I'd be fired 10 times by now without it.

  • I personally submitted Hisense's ACR servers to a popular DNS adblock list that's used by a lot of products.

And just like that, anyone with a VIDAA TV hiding behind a pi-hole went dark.

We should really make sure every TV gets checked.

  • Fuck, he's stupid.

  • None, and Rupert wants to change that.

  • To obtain a PhD, you need to contribute something original to your field of study, not just regurgitate what you've scraped from other studies.

  • Everything the federal government does is to the benefit of either Murdoch Media, the gambling empire, landlords or the mining industry.

I could also suggest that this ban was effected so Rupert could drive traffic to his news websites.

Seriously. Every law always benefits one of them.
