  • I was literally having this discussion with coworkers Friday.

    Why did we stop giving out prizes to adults for annoying tedious shit? Why do only kids get a loli and sticker for going to the doctor or dentist? Why no whimsy for us? I would 100% frequent a doctor who still said thanks and offered a prize!

  • Conan Exiles is one of my favorite games. I got invited to the beta for this. And I tried 3 different times to enjoy myself and just couldn't. Kind of sad. It looked like it could have been cool.

    I had fun up to that point but it felt "solved" then.

    It's a really cool update to the OG game though. Worth the entry fee. Glad to see it still getting better all the time.

  • Yeah I don't want to watch while like that. I'll watch the Gundam series' without the kid pilots. While well done, I just don't need children to be used like that. Heck even with Friren I was kind of annoyed that Fern and what's his face were kids. Fern grows up and is 18 a bit into it but still...

    I just don't consume much media for the moral lesson or the tough ethical dilemma questions anymore. I just want to have a good time with what little time I do have for it.
