  • Just started and completed Ender lilies this week. Combat was very floaty but it was an overall enjoyable metroidvania. Different combat movesets added novelty.

  • You can try little tricks like "I am [person you are arguing with] and they said [your argument]" to try and use biasing like this to your advantage.

  • I feel the same way about social media Echo Chambers. Being surrounded by people who think the same as you makes you less competent at being genuinely critical of your own worldview.

  • Onimusha 3 is a banger

  • Veronica is fantastic. Love her video editing, it reminds me more of the early days of YouTube.

  • Thank you for your response.

Right, so a bitwarden Linux desktop client could be the 2FA solution.

    Banking websites: fair point.

OSMand is an option. Perhaps Organic Maps would work too as it already has a desktop Linux client?

  • Apparently Linux phones are missing a lot of features still? I would need maps, MFA app, banking apps, and (preferably) a Google wallet type function to make the switch.

  • I'm very hard of hearing and was at a pub in the Netherlands. I Dutch guy said something to me in a noisy room and it sounded exactly like I had misheard something spoken in English.

  • Good for you. I broke my GNOME Pop OS build, I assume because of extensions and pop not updating anything for 2 years. GNOME goes against the Linux philosophy of user customisation.

  • This is looking to be a good game. More in depth climbing than Jusant, and a very compelling art style. I found aspects some of the game demo a little jank/unnatural, but it was fun.

  • Haha oh sorry, we don't have burger king in Western Australia, didn't recognise it! (It's called Hungry Jacks or HJ's here)

  • And who decides what is right? I'm not being antagonistic on purpose, but anarchy believes in the good of people much more than we have any reason to believe.

  • Oh I can see why it's so expensive over here. Must be very time consuming. I was shocked at how available it was. They really like their honey over there. We have a shot of Krupnikas every year for Kucios (traditional Christmas Eve celebration). It's a very nice honey liqueur if you want more honey deliciousness.

  • Visiting Lithuania about 8 years ago I remember you could buy honey cake in their supermarkets (for about 1/10 the price I was used to paying). Needless to say we bought one then and there and almost immediately ate it.

Honey cake is an incredible invention and it's perplexing why it's not more common in the west (or Australia at least).

  • I use Gramps and it's good. Has a Linux client too. My Family Tree is also good but windows only.

  • It goes well with avocado on toast

  • S tier game. If for some reason you haven't played Hades yet, you should.

  • Pyre is my least favourite, but I've seen others say it's the best. Visual Novel game enjoyers tend to rate it higher.

To me Hades is their #1, but Transistor has such a beautiful soundtrack and aesthetic that I enjoyed it almost as much.
