If you go to a store, and they force you to provide free labor before you can leave with the stuff you wanna buy, that’s what I would classify as “fucking over the customer”
When it comes to self checkout, I avoid it at every opportunity. In times when I cannot avoid it, I only scan maybe one or two things of my entire grocery cart and then leave with 50 to 60 bucks worth of free groceries.
If some store wants to try to screw me by forcing me to provide free labor, I’m gonna screw them right back.
And I always win. Fuck Self check out.
And it works. The three stores I most frequently shop at have all dropped self check out. I guess they got the message that fucking over their customers isn’t profitable. I wish more would get that message.
Yes, and I’m sure that “doing something” makes them feel better. But it’s not gonna change a damn thing.
If I knew what would change a damn thing, I’d be doing it too. So, aside from wasting time in useless protests that the Trump administration is absolutely going to ignore, do you have some magic spell that can cause them to change their mind? Because protests aren’t gonna do it. Petitions aren’t gonna do it. Hell, someone trying to shoot Trump twice didn’t do it.
I don’t need a news article to tell me that Israel was never going to stick to the deal they made with Palestine.
Nobody in Israel wants peace. They want to fight this war and win.
So many Israel defenders keep saying that “the Arab world wants Israel wiped off the map”, but it’s Israel who’s doing the wiping of Muslims off the map. What outrageously and incredible pieces of hypocritical shit.
TL;DR: Microsoft, IBM, and - especially Apple - are the winners here for standing up, load and proud. The others are mired in their own non-denial denials.
