  • I certainly am!

  • Yep. Grabbed mine a few years ago because of the writing on the wall. I'll treat it like those old school hardback encyclopedias.

  • Hm well Britain did try to fine 4chan. Amusing conceptually but it does mean they're not above picking on website owners for not complying with their rules, regardless of where they are based.

  • I find it also helps the cost is the same as old Nitro was which is pretty affordable IMO.

  • You're not wrong, but I agree with the person above you. I have an RSS feed but whenever something really stirs my interest I generally want to share it with someone and get their takes on it. Genuine discussion, even if it's vanishingly rare, is still something I crave.

  • Did someone try to censor "FUCK" and someone else added it back?

    Excellent.

  • Fluxer. It's struggling a bit with the influx of users but the dev has been working feverishly to patch, should be smoother at some point this week. Current patch is in testing now.

  • Agree headline is misleading. "Walking Back" implies reversing course, that is not happening.

Plus we all know how great AI age verification is. Big empty "reassurance" there.

The great RAMaggedon of 2026 might have just claimed the Steam Deck

  • The irony of people arguing with OP.

  • They do have those things from what I can tell.

  • One of my friends' husbands brought it up, so good old word of mouth.

I did notice I wasn't able to get logged in last night, though the night before I was able to make an account without issue. I wonder if they got a hug of death like Stoat did.

  • I got the self hosted version up and it looks like it's a much older version than their current iteration which was a kick in the teeth. Nothing discouraging quite like "Well you can self host if you don't mind a worse version of the product". Like my dudes I'm trying to take some pressure off of your server...

  • I like Cinny

  • Fluxer apparently has that on their roadmap. https://blog.fluxer.app/roadmap-2026/

As part of #3, I'd also like to add the ability to publish forums to the open web. That way, people can discover, archive, and access discussions without logging in.

EDIT: Not sure why I didn't just look it up. From wikipedia. Sting-attempts are therefore rare unless the centipede is cornered or aggressively handled. Its small forcipules have difficulty penetrating skin, and even successful stings produce only mild, localized pain and swelling, similar to a bee-sting. Allergic reactions to centipede-stings have been reported, but these are rare; most stings heal quickly and without complication.
