Eeeeh, it was ok. I mean they built up the Red John thing so much, then built this whole secret society thing around it, only to almost just completely disregard it again once the FBI arc started. Which was also very shoehorned in. The first few seasons were fine to watch though.
I'm not sure that'll solve anything. Plenty of people with degrees are idiots too. And many people without degrees may have long running experience in topics they talk about due to other reasons than getting a degree.
It probably is better than the rest currently but also here you have the right wing push everywhere and constant privacy-invasion attempts, of course all to protect the children.
Just so far it was held-off, I worry a bit that at some time we might still reach a tipping point.

Well does the cleaner stay when they are done and wear a microphone and a camera to stream whats going on while they work, to some server their company owns? I know this company will say they are not going to store any data, and it is so safe and private, but we all know they won't be able to resist to exploit this somehow. At some point they'll simply be forced to monetise every aspect of their product.
Welp, and some people hypothesized Nothing would be the secret manufacturer that GrapheneOS works with. Hope not, I'm not sure what Nothing would get out of it with these kinds of actions.
