  • Literally proving my point right now. Can't make this up, folks!

  • Keep strawmanning the goalposts. It's hilarious to watch.

  • You again? 🥱

Back to tell me that you can't use a Steam Deck without kernel hacking?

  • Why are you still pretending drag-and-drop mods are the pinnacle of suffering?

    I'm not...

    Are you okay, bud?

Edit: just a troll then. Yawn.

  • Why are you talking about kernel hacking?

  • You don't have to compile kernel patches to mod games on SteamOS. Why are you making things up?

  • Are you really going to pretend modding on Windows doesn't require tinkering/workarounds?

    That's basically what modding is.

  • Modding requires workarounds

No shit, Sherlock. On any platform.

  • You're forced to mod Skyrim to play it?

Who's forcing you to tinker? Are they in the room with us right now?

  • What a wild question

  • As someone else pointed out, you're basically calling a PS5 difficult because it runs BSD and that must mean people need to tinker and use the terminal to make things work.

  • You just said you've never used a Steam Deck. Multiple people have told you why what you're saying is ridiculous.

What more elaboration are you looking for?

  • I don't know why I'm being downvoted; I literally have no idea what I'm talking about

  • This update is what made me setup a recurring donation.

  • It's not even a majority of people.

  • It is false that 90% of the people you've met like Hitler.

  • If that's what you need to tell yourself.

  • We're only talking about hosting because you offered it up as a way of accessing it for "free".

If you want to use Google, you have to pay the same as for using Lemmy, or searxNG, zero.

Nope. With Google, you pay with your data. With Lemmy or SearxNG, you pay with money, or you enjoy the benefits of socializing the cost (just like "free" healthcare)

    Neither are free.

  • So I'd have to spend money on additional equipment, is what you're saying.

Which is not true of using Google.

    Get it yet?
