  • Well the more mainstream gaming got, the more idiots are buying games and stuff, the more gaming companies exploit us. I did not know about that for Sony and Microsoft. I knew other shitty things they did, but as i only play on PC and having a Switch (only console after PS1), i miss some details about how really bad gaming exploit has gotten.

  • AMD and Intel have almost the same performance on Linux. NVIDIA has not though. I had something 10-15% less fps with my RTX 3070, even with a gaming distro, latest NVIDIA drivers running and proton-GE.

  • I don't know about tariffs, but i would like to see fees for data transfering of people outside of EU, more fees over GDPR non compliance and certain bans of data transfering to US (health data, finascial data etc). This is where they can be bleed.

  • I don't know about HDDs but for SSDs they hit a very low price last September 2023, and the companies decided to cut production so the prices go up again. It worked, today SSD drives are more expensive than last year. I bet they did something similar to the HDD, but it's only hypothetical.
