  • They decide what I will eat when I go out to eat, like once a week. Other than that, I buy mostly fresh food, so they don’t have a say.

  • You asshole! By asshole I mean kind, loving gentleman!

Kind of a free for all if there is no dictionary

  • And it had questionable casting

  • The worst part about tech innovation is that it increases the divide between rich and poor. Poor people don’t have access to AI like rich do but they are affected more by its side effects.

  • Their profits, yes.

  • Some people have estimated 8x energy use for 5 as compared to 4 but the model is not 8x better, this has to be a clue to them that increasing power is not the way. But nope, trillions of dollars more will fix it.

  • I am sure they weed out bad seeds but in the end, it is still kind of random

  • when running as your main OS windows very quickly gets bogged down with everything you want to run on it.

  • If you don’t have hardware that supports Windows 11, 10 LTSC is good enough

  • Windows 10 deleted my PopOS bootloader, again

  • Where is the shareholder value in that?

  • If AI is in any way unbiased and is intelligent,

It can be as unbiased as the data it uses, which ranges from human rights promotion to support for ethnic cleansing. Another major problem is that the bias can be changed by the people training the model. For example, Grok is not allowed to call Gaza genocide a genocide.

  • Very interesting read. What I took out of it was that there is still money to be made in the AI stocks before the bubble pops, violently

  • People need to realise this point. Difference between previous models and new ones are so much dependent on the amount of data it has eaten.

  • Data will not stop keep coming because we generate so much of it every day
