Quite a few phones have desktop modes now, and they work alright. I wish my phone had it. My iphone 16 supports USB dp alt mode but only a direct mirror.
There's a few Android phones that have it, old and new. I have an iPhone 16 at the moment and while it works with a dp-alt mode dock, it only mirrors the screen and nothing else. I think there's some things you can do to trick the phone into enabling stage manager and other ipad features.
A Wii u might be better than a Wii. It was pretty underpowered from day 1 and that thing has no hardware video decode. The wiiu has hardware video decode for h264 video.
If the cdn limits download speeds, it can be quite a bit faster. Like I have gigabit speeds at my library. Its faster to torrent the os and download it from my seedbox than it is to do a direct download.
I can still cook. I worked 11-7, but had a 2 hr commute by bus. 1 hr if I was lucky and all the buses lined up. My sister worked 12 hr shifts at a hospital but she'd work extra due to patient issues so more like 14 hrs some days.
Like I said, I'd make an effort and usually I was fine. Id prep food on the weekend ahead of time.
I work full time but after commuting etc I was coming home at 9 pm. Same with my sister but she had 12 hr shifts. (On paper, she works at a hospital and she's always coming home late). Normal 9-5 is doable. The fuckass hours we have, not so much. I'd try though.
This is how I currently feel about the tree branches left on a bunch of parking spots the other day in my apartment complex. A tree was cut down and the crew left a bunch of branches to be moved later. That's where we normally parked for like 20 years. It always feels weird when we see other cars there. Or in this case tree branches.
I walked into a Chipotle and parked close to the window. While ordering, a lifted GMC Sierra parked by my car and absolutely dwarfed it. The hood line I swear was above my roof.
