  • Yeah I unfortunately have celiac along with many people in my family and have never heard of it causing an immediately life threatening reaction. Pain, embarrassment, mental issues, long term mortality, a whole slew of problems but not "I'm going to immediately die".

  • It doesn't do people's argument credit when they call ivermectin a horse dewormer. Yes, it can be used for that but it's a broad spectrum drug used for lots of things in humans and animals. Does it do what the alt right says? Probably not. But you look almost as dumb as they do when you call a WHO essential medicine horse dewormer.

  • I use Ubuntu a lot and can say I've never used the Ubuntu software center. I'm old enough that I still accidentally type apt-get instead of apt though.
