  • If you were so sure you are special, and by some divine grace it happened that you were actually right, you are actually that special a driver, then if/when you still run someone over that goes into the field of something like superheroics logistics / insurances or "natural disaster" insurance I guess.

The problem there becomes, to turn back the analogy to the real case being discussed, how do you compensate someone for being born.

  • you want it so so so so so bad that you don't care if other people die in the process?

We have terms for when one goes on with that, such as "crime", and it's penalized.

  • Everyone wants to get to their point B, ad they are all statistically pretty sure you are not as good a driver as you think you are.

  • Please do, I'm waiting for it to get ported to other languages.

  • Thanks you're doing uwu work.

  • Cry me a river.

    Of blood.

  • about any traffic violation or all fines in general?

Not all "legal offenses" are crimes. Legal systems have categories for a reason. Got caught loitering in the act? That can quite simply be solved by just have you go back to pick up your trash. Some things should not be punishable with jail, some others should, nazism clearly belongs in the later category.

And it probably won’t solve the issue anyway. Just putting people in jail seldom does imo. Yanks have already tried that.

Lemme let you in on a secret:

Yanks don't send people to jail to "solve crime". They don't want to "solve crime". They fill jails to have a cheap abusable workforce. They've even come out saying it openly out loud. Why do you think it's black people or homeless people 90% of the time?

  • That's basically a tax on not being rich enough to be a nazi, which... well.

  • Is that here in lemmy yet?

    Asking for a friend.

  • Planckiest violin, play me Despacito.

  • I saw an uwu guilotine picture the other day and now can't find it, fits pretty well for the "petit ami" aspect.

  • Pot, kettle.

  • I'm told three marked bullets work wonders.

  • The Thing (1982)

    Jump
  • That would be a loss for memory.

  • That might be an issue with who invokes your program.

  • Just because people consume music slop, does not mean that that is a natural demand (given the supply is explicitly artificial, so certainly there's an economic incentive to generate demand), or something they deserve to consume or have to be given to consume (you shit every day; does not imply you want shit).

  • An artificial effect is not the same as a natural cause.
