    if you have somehow managed to avoid the last half decade of politics– in which case tell me who your geosomnologist is cos i want some of that– the global right-wing has been calling LGBT folks groomers for a while now. so if you make such a comparison yourself not only are you signaling to us that you're one of them, you're also signaling it to them too.i hope i don't need to explain why that's bad

How much effort of entirely up to you, if you like yourself with makeup (and yes this does go for men too) then use makeup, if you don't then don't bother. do you think you'd like longer hair? shorter? colored?And if you think you're so uniquely ugly as to be utterly sure that nothing you can do will make you happy you may want to interrogate those feelings, there's probably more going on under the surface there.

    this does not mean that someone who is unwilling or unable to put that effort in is "ugly". this is about your perception of yourself. your perception of other is irrelevant unless asked for
