  • Thank you. I have never used APKvision. Is it a trustworthy site? I guess it is research time.

  • Patched CAT6 cable to nearly every room in the house. WIFI is good these days but still cant compete with good ol ethernet.

  • For Australia I would go with Snowtown for the bodies in barrels. Or maybe Kendall where William Tyrrell disappeared. Both towns are pretty small.

  • I still long for the old Scene Torrents days. RIP SCT

  • I have mixed emotions of love and hate.

  • The fine will be charged to the social media company for failing to control missinformation. Not the users.

  • Nbz360 was the fastest app purchase of my life. Less than 5min and I knew I needed to give that man some $.

  • I built a home virtual server host on Proxmox. It destroyed itself 3 times in 6 months. I gave up and installed server 2019 with HyperV. Has been rock solid for years.

  • Why does the Keyboard look fake?

  • I got to see them recreating this at the Sydney Royal Easter Show a few years back. You could tell it was scripted but it was still super fun to watch.

  • It was already April 1st in Australia.

  • If you run windows then try 🪟+. (Full stop) To access an array of ascii emoji.

  • Torrents are all well and good until you want an album from more than a couple of years ago.

My current workflow. Find a band that I like. Add it to lidarr. Wait 10min. All of their albums are in Plex and can be streamed from anywhere in the world.

  • Spotify was OK back when I used it after Google Music died. YouTube Music's algorithm sucked so I used Spotify for about a year. Then I installed Plex for movies and TV but also found it was also great at streaming music. PlexAmp gives me access to a good suggestion algorithm. I made the decision to give them my $$ instead. Now with lidarr+scripts I can have any music I want with almost zero effort. Plus, as the OP said, I get the fun little side hobby of music curation.

  • It is the only platform where I can follow specific people without a algorithm getting in the way. They all need to choose a new one to move to.
