  • TL:DR?

  • That’s amazing news! I recently replaced hollow knight and have a long flight coming up in October, sounds like the perfect game to play.

  • Huh? Short-timers?

  • I agree, once I saw some politician took like 5k in bribes or something maybe it was 10k. Either way it was wildly low in my mind.

Maybe he only got caught accepting 5k but there was more or maybe these politicians are getting so many bribes all the time and they just keep trickling in “small” amounts.

    Who knows.

  • Any reason to not just run windows server for desktop use?

  • I e mainly switched to dictation, but I wish there was an elegant solution to add a physical keyboard

  • ^ Culdesac – the US' first modern car-free neighbourhood built from scratch – she feels transported to a Mediterranean island

  • Your response

  • Thanks I wondered if the backwards compatibility stuff was part of it.

  • War this a widespread issue? I know every computer can have one of issues, but Microsoft seems to have regular widespread issues and I was wandering about example where Apple also had widespread issues.

  • Do you have an examples of this? I have not used Mac for quite some time.

  • How does Microsoft regularly. Was up this badly?

Do all companies (Apple/linux) do it to but we don’t hear about it because of the smaller user base or is Microsoft literally this incompetent?

If they are, why can they fix the root issue?

The is a genuine question that I don’t have the answer to.

  • Financially, I earn a really low amount. I e been freelance for a while, but am trying to grow the business, so it’s extremely small.

All the stuff I’m using AI for is just for presentation of internal materials. Nothing critical.

  • I have an extremely small company where I am the only employee and AI has let me build and do stuff that I would have needed a small team for the quality of what I went from to what I’m able to do now is really great and it’s thanks to ai.

I have no formal training for work experience in coding, but I taught myself python, years ago. Additionally, I don’t work in IT, so I think using ai to code has been extremely beneficial.

  • I bet a lot of people would love to get back to business as usual as a pit stop on the way towards progress.

  • Yeah, I have no problem running the games I’m interested in and no interest in buying a new handheld if it’s not a steamdeck 2.

I hardly play newer games anyway, so maybe I’ll just get a new battery for the steamdeck in a few years.

  • I’m not saying I don’t want bike lanes.

But the layout of the city I live in is a bunch of districted connected by a big highway.

People are not riding a bike from one district to the other and if they do, they are at high risk of getting hit.

So bike lanes are stupid when only 1 district implements them and doesn’t offer any way to get there from other places safely.

It is literally unused and takes up a lane to worsen traffic even further.

  • My city put up bike lanes on one street. The traffic here is already so bad and they took up a lane to put them there.

It ended up causing massive amounts of traffic and they removed them after about 6 months.

I think the problem was that they caused congestion coming off of a road that people use to get off the main highway and to the business district of my city.

I’ve literally never seen a bike there as it’s mostly corporate buildings and banks and it’s a tropical country. No one is going to ride a bike to that kind of job here.

Additionally, they were just used by motorcycles, so it would be unsafe for bikes anyway.

  • I was rewatching the office a few months ago and they talked about climate change. That show is over 20 years old at this point.
