  • Idk how it works in the us but in Germany you can always anonomously order them to destroy your sample afterwards (you get a little number which is accociated to your sample but not your person). So If you're reallx desperate you could just lie about that, give the blood/plasma, take the money and have it destroyed afterwards.

Immer teurer werdende Medikamente, schwindende Rücklagen und zu viele Krankenhäuser, die rote Zahlen schreiben sind nur einige der Gründe dafür, dass die Kassen immer mehr unter finanziellen Druck geraten. Die Lösung: Beitragserhöhungen. Früher war das maximal einmal im Jahr üblich. Jetzt erhöhen viele Kassen sogar zweimal, einzelne sogar dreimal im Jahr – und das Geld reicht trotzdem nicht. In dieser 11KM-Folge erzählt Nikolaus Nützel, wie das Loch in den Kassen der Krankenversicherungen so groß werden konnte und wie der Ausbruch aus der Beitragserhöhungsspirale gelingen kann. Denn das deutsche Gesundheitssystem genießt zwar qualitativ einen guten Ruf, aber effizient ist es laut Experten nicht.

    I don't have disdain for that. My problem with organized religion is that it gives an easy in for maipulators. And naturally defining an arbitrary dividion into an 'in-group' and non-believers leading to conflicts.

    And (what the main point of my original comment was) this is not limited to abrahamic religions:
