  • Das leißt sich natürlich 'gut', ich finde die Vergleiche aber in einigen Punkten unpassend.

    Z.B. das Betonen der schlechteren Wirtschaftslage und "steigende Arbeitslosigkeit" finde ich schwierig. Ja, wir sind gerade in einer Rezession, aber nicht in einem crash, wie in der Weimarer-Republik. Die Arbeitslosigkeit steigt auch nicht.

    Auch der Vergleich der Groko hinkt. Die Union shießt gerade nach links, ja, aber nicht wirklich stark gegen die SPD, eher gegen Grüne und Linke. Generell ist das Verhältniss zwischen Union und SPD besser, als es zwischen Zentrum und SPD in den 30ern war. Es ist ja nicht so als ob es noch nie eine stabile (im Sinne von stable, nicht based) "Gro"Ko gab.

    Viele andere Punkte sind natürlich trotzdem Valide. Das verschieben des Overtone-Windows ist besorgneserregend, die starken Erfolge der AgD und der Fall der Brandmauer sind auch jeden Fall vergleichbar und extremst besorgniserregend.

  • Springer is the publisher of Bild and Welt (among others) , two major German papers (Bild is the biggest in Germany).

    Especially Bild is known for its right wing populist tendencies

    There is honestly a lot more I could put here. In Germany the Bild is well known as a populist right wing paper. It is not exactly new either. A famous quote from the Punk-Rock song 'Lasse Redn' (2008) when describing the papers content is "Angst Hass Titten und der Wetterbericht" (fear, hate, tits and the weather). The common hastag when talking about them in left-leaning circles is #haltdiefresseBild (shut up Bild). There even is a Browser extension dedicated to block all Springer owned or published products.

    While some of its other papers seem more nuanced at fist glance, they often push similar narratives packaged for their respective audiences.

    Which one could concievably put Nazis into (although their views are shit they're still views)

    I would think saying someones live does not matter constitutes them as unworthy (of life).
