  • Nun will Brüssel nach Aussage des Handelskommissars eine Gebühr von zwei Euro auf Sendungen an private Haushalte vorschlagen. Für Päckchen an Warenhäuser soll demnach eine Abgabe von 50 Cent fällig werden.

    Ich kann die Bevorzugung von gewerblichen Kunden hier tbh nicht ganz nachvollziehen.

  • Brüssel verweist auf Tests von Verbraucherorganisationen, nach denen mehr als 90 Prozent der Produkte von Plattformen wie Shein oder Temu nicht EU-rechtskonform sind und etwa giftige Chemikalien enthalten. Die Zollbehörden sollen Lieferungen in die EU nach Vorstellung der Kommission deshalb schärfer kontrollieren - das kostet Geld.

    Klingt finde ich nach einer grundsätzlich sinnvollen Maßnahme für einen sinnvollen Zweck.
