Of course it is. This post is just more a rhetorical implement aimed at modern lost causers and run-of-the-mill racists than it is a meme about the historical US civil war in its own right. Which is fine; like I wrote, I get the sentiment.
Frankly if Goebbels bore witness to the modern American propaganda machine, he would piss himself in awe. It's a breathtakingly terrible implement of US policymakers.
