Yeah, been there. The codebase I worked on also had a single method with 10k lines.
The database IDs were strings including the hostname of the machine that wrote to the DB. Since it was a centralized server, all IDs had the same hostname. The ID also included date and time accurate to the millisecond, and the table name itself.
Me: Mom, can we have UUIDs?
Mom: We have UUIDs at home

I don't trust people who cook pasta solely based on a timer. You need to just try one ever now and then. Using only a timer its always under or overcooked
I don't even have to deal with any pain, just sweat, and I still struggle to do it even somewhat regularly..
I do have a dishwasher, so loading and unloading that is easy enough. Washing clothes.. already a bit more difficult because it requires a certain time investment.
Sweeping or mopping the floors? Cleaning dust off of shelves? Actually organizing my stuff? Impossible.
