  • I foolishly allowed an update after a restart of Windows 10 and to my shock and horror, it installed Windows 11 without asking me or warning me. Not only that but everything on my desktop was gone, deleted, due to a corruption or something though I had no viruses. I managed to revert back to an old stage of Windows 10 and all my stuff was there. But that gave me quite the scare. I will not be updating to Windows 11 any time soon.

  • Yeah that's one way to do it, they won't dare to harm Bedrock though because of Marketplace I bet

  • Next month, Microsoft forced Mojang to comply with the UK government Online Safety Act. All users must upload Digital ID or some other form of Age Verification to a third party company called Yoti. Or else they won't get to use the chat, friends list, and other social features. All users are affected for now it seems. Yoti claim they will delete the data right away and not store it. This means that even in single player we can't use commands and see achievements and stuff like that. Really annoying. EDIT: Turns out this is on both Java and Bedrock and probably all platforms such as mobile! Not sure how or when it will happen though.

  • Thanks!

  • Do you think a blend of cherry and spruce would be better? I planted the tall spruce trees cause the factory was pretty tall so I wanted trees to be above that building if that makes sense.

  • Interesting thanks! I like birch trees though I think azaelia might blend in too much with the grass. I might try planting some birch and oak instead perhaps.

  • I started off with my house first and then built the rest. Gotta start somewhere. Keep going!

  • I do often play in creative mode too and would highly recommend! I don't do it every single time but it helps to test out different builds.

  • Thanks! I like spacing things apart by 3s or 5s. But usually 3s feels like the right amount. It was annoying with the fountains cause they are not perfectly symmetrical due to how I had to make the paths and stuff. But it turned out ok. Next step is to add more trees and greenery.

  • There are two different editions of Minecraft. One is Java and one is Bedrock. It has nothing to do with programing or coding. Just which version it is. Sorry for the confusion. This isn't programmed. All handmade block by block in vanilla MC.

  • I definitely need to add more trees. I suck at custom trees so I stick with vanilla ones. I definitely need to add more greenery though that's a good shout. Thanks!

  • So annoying when podzol spreads lol. I try to make an isolated area and used stairs to get to it. Though I might make a nicer looking platform. The other weird thing next to it is for oak trees to stop getting the giant ones.

  • Thanks! I started small. First I built my starter house, a mine and small wheat field. Then slowly expanded around it, bit by bit. Don't rush into it and take breaks in between to avoid burnout.
