Noot noot!

  • That is such a tiny list it doesn't even scratch the surface. (But it is a good start!)

All I will say is while buying European is certainly much better than US brands, our glorious u/blaze posted recently about how LVMH bent the knee on DEI policies.

Therefore people please don't give your money to those luxury brands! Buy dupes! I've created a UK perfume community, I'll pin some good European dupes sellers.

Also, Tom Ford perfumes are insanely overhyped and overpriced. Vanilla Sex smells of cat pee!

Edit: didn't realise you were the op Blaze, I'm a silly goose.

  • I mean to be fair, it's not surprising. Luxury brands aren't exactly notorious for their integrity, see Chanel, Balenciaga, Hugo Boss and ironically, Louis Vuitton's involvement in WW2.

  • Suitcase?

  • For those who'll open this thread to look for general luggage not necessarily made in Europe, IT Luggage is decent (I have 3 suitcases from like 2018 that went through about a dozen short flights and 2 long haul ones). UK-based company and most likely made in China.

  • I switched over to Proton a few weeks ago, so far so good. They had my name available so no more weird convoluted email address anymore yay!

  • Not technically pens or paints but Essdee are great for all things prints - think lino print, block or screen print and so on. They're a UK company.

  • it is steep but it's good chocolate. It makes you rethink your relationship with it doesn't it, we take it for granted when in fact it should be a very occasional treat. This is not meant as a preachy statement, I'm very guilty of eating too much chocolate but I think it's the first step in a more positive direction.

  • That's just plain cruel :( Petit beurres were an integral part of my childhood.TIL though, so thank you.

  • Love it, she's a dangerous beauty !

  • Is it pronounced 'don-ger' and means prudence in financial matters in Dutch?

  • I wasn't going to drink it all today by the way, I realise the title of my post is misleading :D

  • right, I was scared for a moment of having done a linguistic faux pas. We'll be alright :)

  • Ah sorry, I thought it meant cheers. What word would work better?

  • Nice, I can get my fix of Mozarts now

  • And it's fair, in that case a little bit of vinegar in the wash is your friend. But me, I'm obsessed with fresh scents (no overbearing florals!) and this thing I've posted does a wonderful job.

  • Dammit they look delicious! Shame I don't have a coffee machine

  • If only...

  • Japanese, Korean and even some Taiwanese products are very good. They also make tat but in general it's still better than the chinesium stuff.
