Oh look, The new leaders of an actual viable US party. These 2 need to recruit more of their kind (progressive), form a party, and take control. In the meantime keep working with the Dems to push them in the right correct direction, building their power til they are the ones making the decisions.
I believe Bernie is doing that as well? We need to ensure PP does not get elected up here or we will start the same decline as you. At least we have some safeguards (unless a majority govt) that don't amount to counting on "Good people doing good things"
It is quite hard to feel pressure from constituents when you refuse to do town halls and prolly have an intern deleting unflattering emails and calls. Fingers in ears "Lalalala"
The difference is our student loans are not predatory, and our schools are not as expensive, tho we can't discharge our loans through bankruptcy either. I've had 3 loans and even paying minimum they were paid off in a decade or 2, repayments are higher in the states and from what I understand the minimum payments there are interest only.
A little closer than Europe, Canada needs both. Depending on age and some other factors it shouldn't be too hard, tho it is not easy. Just don't choose Quebec or New Brunswick if you don't speak french
Interesting knot. As I stated my shoelaces are usually the cheap ones that come with the shoes, so come undone fairly easily (adds about 2 seconds to untie). Quality laces would be much harder to remove. I have been tying shoes for so long it is hard to even do the other foot first, let alone learn a new knot and to overcome 45ish years of tying habit, hell I usually tie in the dark hehe
Double knot, many of my shoes/boots have had the cheapest possible laces that have no friction between them. Since I started to double knot I no longer have that problem. Alternately get the slightly elastic laces that stretch a little
