  • They use Signal just for you even if they don't use it for themselves? You're not even the only one in this thread that says that.

Some of you know some really nice people!

  • I was the one that got them on TG in the first place as it was a trustworthy, good alternative to WhatsApp, so it's gonna be a tall ask to move again from WhatsApp so soon

    Same. It kinda hurts.

  • Yeah, it's like they feel personally attacked

  • You're retired?

Better do that thing where old people retire in Europe what I keep hearing so often about!

  • I guess I didn't know WhatsApp caught up that much to Telegram, the WhatsApp I knew used to support group chats and voice calls but nothing like channels, supergroups and following users, yet.

  • Which were they? As in what was their domain name?

  • WhatsApp. It's a direct WhatsApp clone.

  • I don't know, man, his seems pretty dead.

  • So far the American Ultra-rich have been doing well when they didn't get Luigi'd.

    Actually a great point!

  • For me the answer is “Building backend applications with it instead of CLI applications, like Lerdorf intended.”

But also "\n" because it's easier and PHP_EOL is just an alias for "\n"; it's not even platform-dependent.

  • The bottom bit looks like Loss; :.|:;

  • subsidiaries?

  • Oh! In landscape it does display nicely!

But who browses mobile Lemmy in landscape‽

  • I feel I'm more understanding towards people not understanding non-literal speech if anything

  • To be fair, American Standard Code for Information Interchange was only meant to display English, which doesn't care about the language your name is from.

  • Boost ,as well.

  • In-person TTRPG games (instance checks out, yes)
