  • Not if the moon is also square.

  • Trumpanzee - I'm nicking that!

  • From what I remember she gave a good answer and he healed her daughter. Matt 15:25-28.

There's also the Great Commission "[Jesus said] go and make disciples of all nations" Matt 28. Jesus does give a shit about Gentiles but his mission was to Israel; it would be the church's mission to bring the Good News to the whole world.

  • The Old Testament Law/Covenant still stands today and you have the choice to try to follow it if you want. I don't see why you would want to because it's "to be perfect you have to do all this all your life but TLDR you've already broken it so it's impossible and you're already condemned". Jesus introduced a new covenant (aka testament, hence "New Testament", also called "New Covenant" in some bibles) of grace and forgiveness, which is superior to the Old. We don't ignore the Old as such, we just follow the New because it's better.

  • Onan, which is why wanking is called onanism. To me it's an odd story because it seems more like a social construct than a divine command. So I wonder if it's been heavily abridged and he died for some other reason that's been left out and they just said God did it because they wanted to reinforce that construct. If God really had a habit of dropping bodies just for spilling their seed, well, let's just say there'd be several thousand reasons why I wouldn't be typing this right now.

  • It gives a way to distinguish between "Sue, and Greg" (two independent people), and "Sue and Greg" (a couple).

  • Motherland, surely? -a is a feminine ending.

  • Definitely not 5 because it looks like it's trying to be a spoon, but you can't eat soup with a fork (well, technically you can but it'd take a long time).

  • They'll have barcodes on the sides so that they can scan-de-navy-in.

  • It's funny when you go to Germany and hear them pronouncing it wolksvagen.

  • You don't see all the rope so there could be a loop around the line behind them.

  • No, they're attached to sleepers, and the whole lot sits on a bed of ballast (stones). You could easily move some stones aside and thread the rope through the gap.

  • Oh no, how awful! Quick everyone, let's all go out and buy a Tesla to make him feel better.

  • I feel ya bro. Every time there's an English accent on an American program you know that's going to turn out to be a baddie.

  • Decimals are usually spelt out a digit at a time. 3.14159 would be three point one four one five nine, not three point fourteen thousand one hundred and fifty nine. 37.32 would be thirty-seven point three two. If it's not a decimal but something like a version string then you could say v3.14 is version three point fourteen, and three point one four might be confused with 3.1.4 even though you didn't say the second point. IP addresses are a bit mixed; I'd say ten ten, but also one nine two dot one six eight.

  • Methinks the meth dealer doth protest too much.

  • Ever? Too many times. When I think I've told Windows Update "yes, do all the shit, yes it's fine, yes I'm sure, yes you can do it, yes I really want you to do it, yes I'm sure I really want you to, yes I'm sure I'm sure, yes for the umpteenth fucking time" and switched off my monitor to go home for the weekend, the number of times I've come in on a Monday morning just to find I have to click "yes" yet again then have to sit there watching it grind out its updates.

I just wish they'd add a checkbox, off by default, that says "yes you can do it all, just stop asking stupid fucking questions" that I can click and go home. But for some reason Microwank insist I have to sit there watching that fucking update percentage creep up then endlessly sit at "100% all is done, please wait" for no reason whatsoever.

Oh yeah and there always seem to be way more reboots needed when BitLocker is active. I'm sure 1 reboot is the norm with occasional 2's. But with BL it's usually 5-6 reboots.

I used to work at a place where MS would raise tickets with us and I always wanted to give them the WU treatment. But professionalism always got in the way of "This ticket is 100% complete, you must close and reopen it to continue".

  • There's quite a lot of information in those pixels. You can make out gaps between words, risers and descenders, two smileys in the first paragraph which I reckon are probably a smiley and a thumbs up which will further narrow down the possibilities for the words in their vicinity. Constrain that further with English language rules and I reckon that'd get you most of the way there.
