We need a NOVA replacement with how they've recently restructured the company. It looks like NOVA is getting squeezed for the last few cents they've got to offer by whom ever bought the company 1-2 years ago.
I've tried every other launcher I could find. In my opinion they all seemed to be minimalistic by design or they just lacked features.
Your method would annoy me because of having to log in to websites 'all of the time' instead of allowing at least some to have persistent logins. Losing website preferences would also be annoying.
Like Linux, I don't want it to be the hobby; I just want to use it. If every website opened in it's only container then there is no care about cookies because they can't track you across the web, nor can they try to steal others.
I wonder what it would be like if there was a setting in Firefox that opened each website in it's own container without any faff. Firefox automatically creates the container for the website if it doesn't already exist and opens the website within it.
Unfortunately people don't see voting systems as a method to highlight the relavency of a contribution. They see it as a like/dislike system, and so I see as shut up signal used by most because downvoting a contribution buries it to the bottom where few people will see it.
If it was used for relevancy and quaility then communities would be self regulating by the users. I believe Reddit's guidelines state(s/d) it's voting system was meant to be for relevancy, even though most people use it as a like/dislike system.
I also dislike the design layout. Eg. I much prefer the control panel version of Disk Management than the settings purely from an aesthetics stand point. Each disk and their partitions are just easier to see and differentiate from others.
Tidal has new music playlists straight from Tidal and they're genre specific, which is quite different from Spotify. They're in a set place within Tidal, so you don't have to search for the new playlists either.
The sad thing is that it appears a lot of people only like listening to music that they already know. Out of the people I know, I'm the only one that hates listening to the same songs over and over again. I wonder if that's why many people only seem to like music from their teenage/young adult days 🤔
You could turn off the DHCP server on your router and let your server handle it. You can then tell your clients to use Pi hole via the DHCP running on your server
Not owning a personal vehicle is only okay if you live in the heart of a city and don't go outside of that little bubble. All other scenarios massively benefit from a personal vehicle; even going from one side of a city to another.
How strange. You would think the star rating would always show regardless of regional settings and you would think reviews are also shown but with a translate button next to each review given that's not the same as what's set in your regional settings - the same as on Google Maps.
Edit: I'm looking at the Play store since F-Droid doesn't have ratings or feedback. I look for apps on the Play store, find something interesting, and then look for the F-Droid version.
