    It's an evil logic, but there was an internal logic behind what he did in his first term. He bullied you into submission, and agreed to a deal if he thought it benefits him (him, not the USA).

    Now, he's just on full autodestruct. There's zero logic behind it. Not even chaotic franticness like before, just erratic randomness.

    See, I'm German. We have a solidarity based health insurance (mostly). I'm a young, reasonably healthy guy with a reasonably high income. All in all I pay 840€ every month (that's the maximum amount), even though I cost next to nothing. And I'm okay with that.

    Yes, smoking is bad and I don't like smokers. But denying them healthcare is deeply deeply inhumane. And in Germany even unconstitutional.

    I mean, let's assume he's right, and let's assume that a vaccine only protects you for, say, 20 years. Just measles induced encephalitis alone has a lethality of 0.1%. How many cases of anything more than a mild fever did any vaccine ever cause? He's not even claiming it's causing autism or death or transformation into Space Godzilla. So why not just vaccinate? It's stupid even in his own world.

  • As someone working in government IT, the entire sector is focused on compliance, not security. You can install the most obviously backdoored/unsafe device or software, as long as you have a paper trail that someone pinky promised that it's secure. Absolutely bonkers.

    In your case, if the manufacturer of devices has all the necessary certifications, nobody will even question the security.

  • Yes, because you're completely missing the point.

    There is literally no risk involved for them in just staying. They had their jobs, and they could easily do the right thing by just following the law. If they were to be fired, they would still get severance of some sort. In any case, it would have slowed down Elon at least for a while.

    What they did instead is resigning, thus not getting severance, not being able to slow anything down, making room for obedient bootlickers, and finally they're now unemployed.

    So tell me again: how is resigning the right move? They made the world worse, and they made their personal life worse. Literally no benefit for anyone.

    Your entire argument is ex post. You see the fact that they resigned as a given and try to justify that. Why can't you see that this is not a necessary condition?

    Es kann natürlich sein, dass in einer Parallelwelt andere Worte genutzt werden, aber dann integrier dich doch bitte mal. Die Partei die du hier so tapfer verteidigst fordert das nämlich schon seit langem.

  • That's the thing, though. They're not really taking risks.

    Much of what DOGE does is completely illegal and does not go through the proper channels and processes. By simply doing their jobs and forcing everything through the proper processes, they can slow down everything, maybe even to a halt, while being completely in the right and thus can't be fired.

    Yes, it takes a mental toll, but these guys have a responsibility.

  • Das klingt aber nach der Art Feinheit, bei der Spanier wissen, dass es eine Feinheit ist und wenn man gerade sein Kartoffelspanisch radebricht wissen, dass sie solche Feinheiten vielleicht nicht zu wörtlich nehmen sollten.

    Generell haben Deutsche ein etwas zu perfektionistisches Verhältnis zu Sprachen. Viele andere Kulturen versuchen einfach, mit den gegebenen Mitteln eine Kommunikation aufrecht zu halten, während Deutsche von sich aber auch Einwanderern in Deutschland Perfektion erwarten.

    Deswegen sprechen deutsche Businesskasper und Weidel auch so ein komisch überausgesprochenes und gestelztes Englisch.

  • Die Mitarbeiter sind meiner Erfahrung nach nicht das Problem, eher das Umfeld.

    Du hast hunderte verschiedene Anbieter, kaum Standards und für privaten Dienstleister beschissene rechtliche Grundlagen.

    Kleines Beispiel (wegen anonym etwas abstrahiert): wir sind ein privates Unternehmen. Wir kriegen von einer Behörden eine Ausschreibung rein, dort steht extrem schwammig, was sie eigentlich wollen. So schwammig, dass wir viele viele Annahmen treffen müssen. Sales kürzt das ganze ordentlich ein, denn wie immer zählt der Preis zu quasi 100%.

    Wir gewinnen die Ausschreibung. Der Timer beginnt, in 12 Monaten muss was stehen. Die ersten 2 Monate muss man sich die Leute ransuchen, die überhaupt wissen, was passieren soll. Fachlich und technisch. Dabei kriegt man mehrere, oft widersprüchliche Aussagen, die auch nicht mit der Ausschreibung übereinstimmen. Nach weiteren 2 Monaten steht dann mit Glück der erste Entwurf, der ist aber viel komplizierter als die Ausschreibung, Geld wird schon knapp.

    Die Entwickler können vielleicht schon vorher loslegen, aber unweigerlich stellt sich heraus, dass die Aussagen der Ansprechpartner falsch oder unvollständig waren. Die Schnittstellen müssen ganz anders gebaut, Abläufe anders geplant werden.

    Kriegt man hin, wir sind ja Profis. Allerdings wird das Geld knapp, also fängt das kürzen an. Die ganzen Goodies und teilweise eigentlich wichtigen Feature fallen weg. QA auch.

    Kurz vor Release fällt dann einem Sachbearbeiter ein, dass Sonderlocke 37a.67 unbedingt rein muss. Das bricht zwar alle Annahmen von vorher, wird aber noch reingedengelt.

    Beim Release ist die Software miserabel, funktioniert nicht richtig, aber gut genug, dass der Kunde sie zähneknirschend abnimmt. Wir könnten die Software besser machen, aber das Geld ist alle. Jetzt ist Wartung und das sind 10PT/Jahr. Das reicht nicht.

    Die Entwickler sind angepisst, aber es wartet schon das nächste Projekt.

Die Union greift in ihrer Anfrage dieses Narrativ prominent auf und behauptet, die Einmischung der betreffenden NGOs in die politische Meinungsbildung sei womöglich – so wörtlich – „ein Verstoß gegen die demokratische Grundordnung“. Konkret genannt und angegriffen werden in der Anfrage Organisationen wie Attac, Omas gegen rechts und Correctiv. Inhaltlich zeichnet die Kleine Anfrage das Bild staatlich finanzierter und politisch gelenkter Proteste gegen rechts.

    Der zweite Absatz. Hättest du dir die Mühe gemacht, den Artikel zu lesen, hättest du das gesehen.
