As an engineer, ill frequently get an email or slack message asking me to do something Im employed to do but haven't done in months. I have to drop my current work and try to relearn something that is now slightly different in unexpected ways. And its already broken too, thats why I got the message. Def ruins a day.
This is every day for me as an engineer. Every day there are calls with important conversations. Its exhausting. I thought I'd be able to find a job where I could keep my head down and work, but thats not reality.
I agree. I think the plot emerging right now, is there are a lot of people that voted for lower taxes, or some other relatively forgivable rationale, when they voted Trump, but are like "wtf, dont fn kill people!"
