AI is a financial scam. Basically companies that are already mature promise great future profits thanks to this new technological miracle, which makes their stock more valuable than it otherwise would be. Cory Doctorow has written eloquently about this.
It seems to me that part of the problem is overreliance on phones as computing devices. A lot of things, like banking, are best done on an actual computer. We have become too dependent on phones.
If they really wanted to get some insights into how the American right thinks there are other ways to do it (and it's not hard, given that the American right has no problem in telling us exactly how they think). They certainly should not invite the guy to a closed-doors meeting with the cabinet, that we only find out about when he announces that he can't attend. The first infuriating thing about this is that they invite him in the first place. The second is that they try to keep it secret from Canadians. Betrayal is perhaps too strong a word, but not by much.

A sales tax is not progressive and it affects lower income people especially. A better option is to raise the corporate tax rate, which Jason Kenney lowered to 8% and the ANDP campaigned on raising to its previous level of 12% in 2023.
Obligatory both-sides-ism by the CBC, to compensate for the demolition job that Daneille Smith is experiencing at these "panels". We used to joke about Fox News begin "fair and balanced" but the disease has spread everywhere.
