Enjoys breaking apps, escooters, spam rings and sometimes bones, drones, but not my own. Because that sucks.

    I just map all users Tailnet visitors to guest, and give me r/w and all others r/o.

    You had a gander through the docs/GitHub to see if an existing thing lives for scheduled posts and could be even hosted by a numbnuts here on a spare Pi etc?

    This is what I've always found fascinating about companies and governments trying to block their usage.

    All major firms/companies/governments use them, so, how the hell are they gonna stop them when their bosses get poked that's something's up 🙉

  • Dreamplayer on Android and Android TV is pretty cool for TVH servers, albeit they want you to pay for each app and have a rather appropriate username

    But as others have said LiveTV on Jellyfin sucks and can be used instead with VLC and other apps / resources.

  • I'm unsure if there's something on Lemmy for that, but it's definitely something that helps the community since most mod actions I recall are poking people in the right direction like PAAFM.

    Awesome team and community over there, and there is the old wiki pages too 🤔

    USB is slow, and will kill the drive if used 24/7. I know it's hard to expend too much money on a dedicated box for storage but long term you'll thank yourself for investing.

    3TB of data I lost and paying to recover that data? Dammit, hindsight is a bitch

  • Says on the product page that that Beelink supports a maximum 2TB SSD, so I wouldn't go buying another unless you're sure it can.

    As others have said, no USB drives as I've had a failure with one too hence me now having a NAS. I know you said you're allergic to spending money but saving up for one was the best thing I've bought for a while.
