  • My primary concern in all this is safety. It is not safe to choke your parter even if it is agreed upon. It causes permanent damage although how much damage I suppose is debatable.

tbh I don't care if people engage in dangerous actions as long as it's done with informed consent.

There are major issues with people being pressured into putting up with stuff they wouldn't otberwise but that's a far bigger issue you don't solve by banning media.

  • You're replying to a thread that explicitly says it's being done consentually. This is a non-sequiter.

You don't solve non-consentual actions by complaining about two people doing the same thing consentually.

  • go touch grass and stop victim blaming

  • Yes, and male birth control doesn't solve these problems because the only way to be 100% sure is to be on birth control yourself, especially important with huge chunks of the US banning abortions

  • Earlier trials saw the same thing a few percent tapping out for the same reasons.

A fee percent is quite different from what you said earlier. Basically any trial has a few percent drop out.

  • I'd suggest actually reading the article you're providing as a source:

Comparing the discontinued men’s study to what we know — or don’t know — about how hormonal contraception affect women isn’t really feasible, experts said.

There’s still research underway to develop a hormonal option, Colvard noted. And many researchers said this trial provides potentially helpful insight.

Also encouraging: the fact that so many men said they would take the drug if it were available. Historically, the burden of controlling pregnancy has fallen on women, Breuner said. But now, the findings here show that may be shifting — and could in fact spur more interest on the part of drug developers.

  • Custom ROMs should be able to disable the checks. My bigger concern is what it does to the open app ecosystem as a whole.

  • That defeats the entire point of the project, there are other custom ROMs that significantly improve privacy and security on non-google phones. What's accomplished by graphene supporting them?

  • They supported Google because it was the only device with the hardware security features they needed

  • A midlevel director who doesn't use the tool but thinks all the features the salesperson mentioned seem cool

  • Laziness, much easier to just block it than try to prevent only illegal torrents

  • I've had issues with FreeCAD being less performant and freezing or crashing when trying to make more complex parts.

Fairly rare though and I've been able to work around it

  • Let people engage in other tactics, this isn't worth fighting over

  • And in the context of the question, the 'target' is fairly large doesn't take that much to hit it

  • Have you played dread? I think they worked the party into that a lot better than Samus returns. It's mechanically very similar but the enemy AI and refined movement make it work better imo

  • The part of metroid games I enjoy is the interconnected world andexploring and understanding that. This sort of open area completely works against that and killed all my excitement

  • Yeah, I've been tired of open worlds and Nintendo seems to be like a decade behind the industry and just fully getting into them now. I lose a ton of interest when like any game announces its open world now but especially metroid. That's like completely counter to what I enjoy about the series :(

This went from I'm taking off work to play to well, I guess we'll see what it looks like before I buy it

  • Yeah, his neck just did that

  • Yeah, people who shoot a ton often buy the components and make them themselves, collecting and reusing the casings
