  • Same. Made a bunch of IRL friends in this game. It truly is something else but so time consuming, reason why we all left the game eventually.

  • Relax boys and girls. Tomorrow he'll say the exact opposite. It is what senile people do.

  • Having to opt out is illegal in Europe though is it not?

I opted out by deleting my account, haven't used it in years. Which may be a trend and forcing them to find other ways of revenue? Nope they are still growing apparently.

  • NL might be paradise compared to the US, but I have never been to the US so not sure about that. We don't have Trump here though so we do have that going for us.

Dutch politics is a joke, politicians prefer throwing mud at eachother over actually solving problems, of which we have many, and increasingly so over the last decade. Notably drug related crime (which is probably what our southern neighbours are referring to), poor care for the elderly, housing shortage, inflation, shortage of staff, etc, etc.

Our government, like many other european countries, is still very pro Israel, even though the vast majority of the people that live here are are not, especially in the current timeline. Not sure what the exact reason behind this is.

So, not exactly paradise I'd say.

  • A federated linkedin alternative without all the messaging and congratulations on your new job crap? That would be a good thing yes.

I actually was just about to delete my linkedin account, I have not used it in years and the AI privacy setting that defaults to enabled was a good reason to get rid of it for good.

  • I don't know yet. Going to give Librewolf a try.

  • Welp, so long Firefox. It has been a good run all those years.

  • Seems it "thinks" a T is a D?

Just needs a little more water and electricity and it will be fine.

  • They only make some engines there afaik.

  • Dictator Trump doesn't really care if he has authority to do anything though. Look at all the shit he is getting away with.

  • I disagree. I stopped distrohopping 20 years ago (my first distro was Slackware installed from a set of dvd's). Settled on Arch. Everytime I upgrade my PC I reinstall Arch, transfer my /home partition over, install packages and that is it really. I do not see the appeal of sticking everything in a bunch of config files at all.

  • Doesn't sound bad at all really when you think of it.

  • This orange fucktard just doesn't stop. Every fucking day there is new shit coming out of his demented brain.

Is there a is Trump dead yet website?

  • Yeah could well be, it was some time ago I tried it. I am happy with zsh though, and as always, use what you like.

  • Had the opposite experience, fish was way slower than zsh for me.

  • I laugh at all these desperate "AI good!" articles. Maybe the bubble will pop sooner than I thought.

  • I have had quite a few nvidia cards in my linux systems and all ran fine, except for a while when Wayland came along. Those issues have now been fixed as well. Your experience may vary ofcourse depending on the hard and software you use. But there is no reason to not use Nvidia on Linux.

That being said, I switched to AMD recently and had some issues with suspend and resume so it is not like AMD is the holy grail for Linux systems. I made the switch because of the opensource drivers and Nvidia being greedy fucks.

  • How's the camera. Compared to say samsung or iphone if you had any of those before.
