My understanding is that range estimates are based on 150lb rider, flat ground, lowest assist setting. Ebike standards are pretty Wild West right now though, so that's worth a fart in a hurricane.
I'm not sure who this is for - if someone is moving to a trike because they have balance issues, they're not gonna be riding it on single track.
I guess it's just an alternative to a regular eMTB, just a different off-road toy. Nothing wrong with that. :) in a way it reminds me of the ski sled thing you sit on like a bike.

Saw a couple people on lectric ebikes today, each with a small kid on the back. None of them were wearing helmets. Guess that's the life hack... never need to replace your helmet if you don't wear one.
I replaced mine earlier this year, got a POC Tectal MIPS. Really like it.
They don't get anything out of calling him, so he doesn't understand why they'd do it. Someone else told him it's a nice thing to do and that acknowledging it is helpful to him.
