No lie, this is how I learnt keyboard hotkeys as a kid. I'd click middle mouse to open a link on the site in a new tab, with my hand ready to go on Ctrl + W. The nanosecond I detected a fake site, I'd closer that sucker and move onto the next link.
Oh boy did I bring a lot of viruses on my computer in the process in the name of efficiency & greed (& hefty amount of stupidity).
Sure it doesn't affect you, but your data is an important statistic to train zuck's algorithm to keep the other rubes, and children, doom scrolling on that shit platform.
Putting aside the dystopian angle for a minute, if you knew your data is valuable, would it change your behavior? e.g. if you behaved exactly the same as the median, would your data be valuable to advertisers? They gain no new info from you. Would you behave erratically just to make your data more valuable?
This kind of makes the theft of personal data even more insidious, IMO. Your data is only valuable if you forgot you're being watched.
This could actually be why they're entering China. Emerging economies might buy much cheaper older tech from Chinese machines instead of cutting edge &expensive ASML machines.. Once the tech is out, Pandoras box can't be unopened (from ASML's perspective). Stifling Chinese adoption early might make any Chinese competitor nonviable without govt support. Overall might be worth any retribution from the US.
This definitely isn't my jam. That dosa looks good but kinda dry/think/crispy, probably to be eaten with chutney. I need something to mop up the curry like roti, chapati or rice. With this I'd be eating chicken curry & dosa, but separately.
A worthy change could be an uttapam (just make the same dosa but thicker) or a neer dosa? That'd be the bomb.
Not obvious I think, because a lot of territory marking in canids & felines is extremely specific in location & around the entire territory they want to mark, where others/competitors would smell it. A group of chimpanzees all peeing close together kind of clusters it, wouldn't it be more effective if the distribute the activity so it's spread out more?
I seriously doubt there'll be meaningful DLC and that the story will be long/entertaining. See the critically acclaimed RDR2,has no big DLC. I doubt it'll ever come down to $20
I suspect it'll be a vehicle to push GTA Online 6 or whatever. Even with that, it'll still be $100. I also doubt it'll come to steam till 5 years down the line. These are usual Rockstar & 2K shenanigans.
Not being cynical, being (relatively) realistic. Rockstar has a track record of demanding exorbitant prices & fans paying them.
They're building them in many tier 2 cities in India now. But its very patchy. You'll have good sidewalks for 100m, then nothing for 200m. So pedestrians don't use them since they can't be asked to keep getting up & down all the time, dodge hawkers & avoid open manholes/drainage.
