Because you can take it server to server. If you try and play an mmo on private servers, you have to make an account on each server. You could see what people have done on other servers, even though they haven’t leveled up on all servers.
It was fun. I didn’t overthink it. It was just Halo, but more like what I thought it would’ve been like, back in the day, if we could’ve gotten an actual Halo.
If you think about it, the thing is huge, and would be massive & tedious to traverse. It never felt that way in the old game, where it was all linear sections connected by cutscenes.
Halo Infinite was closer to that.
Everything you mentioned wasn’t even a factor to me.
It does make sense. As the ice melts, the Arctic Ocean will become an ocean like any other. Trade routes will be used, and it would make sense to have troops up there to patrol the seas.
