  • I wish I wasn't so tired. I do periodically have days where I get more than the basics done (food, shower, some cleaning), but it's not often. I envy those that only need 8-ish hours of sleep and feel refreshed in the morning.

    Also, we've started getting 40+ degree days and that's no good.

  • haha I like the cyberware limit being because there's too much spyware on cyberware. That also jives with the premium expensive version taking up less cyber capacity.

    You could have it so that your cyberware can be direct upgrades but periodically a thing pops up on your screen that you have to move off screen because the x to close it is greyed out or something.

    The blackwater guys don't have to deal with this as they're defending the systems that cause this silliness. 20/80 on if your parent company shells out for a premium spine that helps you work though.

  • I rail against those little vignettes people post which seem to star aliens with no redeeming features who only exist to fawn over humans (or be righteously destroyed by them). Even if it doesn't come from fascists, that sort of supernatural racism winds up being fascist adjacent or leading towards fascism. But it also just seems kinda pathetic to write a short story where the only interaction is for some alien to say "You're so beautiful. And tough. And can run long distances. By gum, you're amazing."
