  • That’s why you don’t even enter trade “deal” talks with the madman at all

  • It’s not okay but the competition when it comes to hotel comes from a country hosting world’s biggest internment camps in Xinjiang, which, I would say, is worse than taking a cut off hotel bookings in a country that does bad things. Gotogate only sells flights as far as I know, not hotels

  • The biggest alternative is Chinese Trip.com. Booking.com, despite its flaws, is still one of the European-based big companies that are successful globally

  • protect national interests

Europe shall also protect their national interests and sanction India in this case, as India directly finances Russia which threaten’s European security

  • This revenue would come from us paying higher prices for airplanes. It’s just another tax on us. Private jets - sure, but the majority of this 1€ trillion would come from us, plebs flying to Mallorca on holidays.

  • You have created your account 7 days ago. You were not there during her campaign

  • We should have done the same thing a long time ago, actually

  • Starting soon folks, get ready!

  • An actually solid mobile client

  • It’s easier to run such operations against random illegal tobacco traffickers rather than FSB agents, which belong to one of the world’s best spying agencies

  • I doubt that’s the real reason behind opening this route. Russia has been sending North Korean troops to fight in Ukraine for them, and Moscow is a good transportation hub for this kind of operations

  • Not sure how you’ve replied to a deleted comment but yeah, I figured it out in the meantime, hence I deleted it. Thanks though!

Regarding the latter - Germany and France are (hopefully) not that stupid, but for instance Poland which spends the biggest share of its GDP on military, already buys foreign stuff instead of investing into domestic production, so I am afraid the rest could go with it. Many of our leaders are just plain stupid (I hope, or worse case: corrupt)

  • That’s literally what we did. Germany wanted to keep their car exports flowing to USA, and now we are all gonna pay the price of having to buy all the American goods

  • Moving away is the opposite of pledging to do massive investments in the US and getting dependent on the American military equipment and energy

  • This is the most terrible trade “deal” I’ve ever seen signed.

    What US gets:

    • keeps 15% duties on EU exports with a guarantee that EU won’t retaliate
    • EU buys absurd amount of energy from the US
    • EU promises big investments in the US
    • EU buys even more military equipment from the US

    What EU gets:

    • nothing
  • This time EU chickened out
