Reasonably sure i can set up local control through home assistant. Haven’t looked too hard but I’ve always liked the featuresets on the roombas and the Amazon connection was the reason I haven’t done too much investigation yet.
I think we’re gonna learn some things about him after this war is over that we won’t like. He’s doing great as a war time president, but no one is this squeaky clean.
Yea, seems like a bad deal for them. They give up all their leverage (horrible way to think about human lives…) and agree to return to being slaughtered 2 months later.
They keep calling it lightweight but aren’t saying what that weight is. It’s gotta be in the ballpark of a rubber tire to really be viable, so I’d say 4lbs at the absolute top end. More than that and it may reduce rolling resistance while shooting itself in the foot with the added rotational mass.
Fuck. At least they let you deboard. We didn’t get any information about what was happening and I never found out what the delay was. Could have been a crash in the runway did all I know.
I got stuck in a similar situation flying out of Venezuela when I was 15. It was a group trip and circumstances wound up being that all the adults ended up on a prior flight that left on time, like 20 minutes before ours was supposed to. We were on the tarmac in Venezuelan summer for 5 hours for the flight to Miami. We had air, but no AC and they wouldn’t provide food or water for… reasons? It was fucking brutal. I can’t imagine not even having air…
I really rely on my watch for notifications in particular since it’s MUCH less intrusive to check my wrist than pull my phone out. The other big benefit for me is maps. I get a tap on the wrist when my turn is coming up, which works particularly well when walking like I’m doing a lot of in NYC this week.
That said, my watch is something like 5 years old now and I see zero reason to upgrade. I’ll wear it till it dies and then buy whatever the cheap version is.
I assumed it’s because high income earners tend to have high income earning friends.
