  • Oh yeah, I worked with an out trans workmate when I was working in monitoring (basically an office job) and even there and within New Zealand she had some trouble with a couple colleagues. Management totally took her side which was nice, but it's tough out there.

    They get a little pricey if you get more than a few pairs at once, YMMV but mine have lasted about 6 years and only need replacing now, and as mentioned I use them for physical work as well. I love them

    Oh and their sock glue is good too, lasts a long time and comes off easily by applying water

    This is why I put a lot of effort into seeming like a normal person when I'm not at home, it actively stresses me out, but I don't want to be treated as different.

    At least I can be a weird cat on Lemmy and nobody gives me shit. It's quite refreshing.
