  • How much storage does it have? Google search indicates it may just be 32GB. With a small distro, you just maybe just barely fit text only Wikipedia on there with Kiwix (or whatever the Wikipedia archive reader is called.)

Alternatively, you could put some books from Project Gutenberg on there. Throw in some public domain music recordings, a freely available movie or two (like the ones from the blender project), and maybe some light weight open source games... Then, you could have have yourself a portable offline library which could be shared with no legal repercussions.

  • Why is the lady almost the same color as tom? I don't remember this being a furry show.

  • The Nobel prize website says he won the prize (which he shares with two others) for "the development of metal–organic frameworks."

Here's the wiki page for the frameworks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal%E2%80%93organic_framework?wprov=sfla1

And an excerpt relating to how they can be used:

MOFs are of interest for the storage of gases such as hydrogen and carbon dioxide. Other possible applications of MOFs are in gas purification, in gas separation, in water remediation, in catalysis, as conducting solids and as supercapacitors.

  • I did look up pictures, and I have experienced nothing like that. Thanks for the new fear, though! Cheers!

  • From a quick google, no. The mark is halfway up my back. I have had this mark my whole life. It grew (even relative to my size) during childhood. It stopped growing when I did. I had it inspected multiple times. It is apparently benign. It started growing hair during puberty

  • I have a sizable birthmark on my back that grows thick hair (the surrounding skin does not).

  • It's funny you say that. When I was a child, I could whistle for one day. It just... Worked all of the sudden. But, like you, I slept and then could never do it again.

  • What about something that everyone else thinks is easy but it's difficult for me?

    Whistling. I'm fucking 35.

  • If I lose 50 pounds (22 kg or 3.5 Stones), then I'll allow myself to buy a rather expensive record player with a backup to PC feature.

    I'm at 35, so I think it's reasonable.

  • Where did you think the dot com bubble popped?

  • Well, Bazzite exists. And SteamOS can now officially be put on other hardware as well. SteamOS needs a certain kind of SSD though. So I'd look into whether this device has the correct kind before thinking about that. It's popular enough that surely someone out there has a review of how well it works with SteamOS and/or Bazzite.

  • It's a GPD Win 5. Says so in the photo itself.

  • No. It was you who said the X-Men were never about saving people. I said yes they did. Then you seemed to argue that because the main focus of the X-Men comics isn't specifically saving people, they are not focused on that in the slightest.

I agree they almost never talked about it in what I read of the original run, but that was the 60s. I've read plenty of X-Men comics (after the 70s reboot) where they arrive on scene and start saving people THEN focus on the bad guy.

I'm just trying to say that they do save people. Yes, it's not the main focus of the comic, but why would it be?

  • Um, ok. And, the main focus of the Bible isn't gardening, either.

The primary focus isn't saving people, because that would get old really fast. Is there even a comic where the primary focus is saving people, all the time? What good would saving people do if you didn't also stop the thing causing the disaster? (Because it is almost always not a natural disaster in comics.)

  • Which is a pity, because they do in the comics. Kitty and Nightcrawler are especially good at saving trapped people.

  • Your older brother is on drugs. I'm sorry you had to find out this way.

    (I'm joking... sort of.)

  • Have you even considered that the coins are shiny-shiny? Well worth the investment.

  • Just make an alt account at lemmynsfw.com that you use for that purpose.
