I always wait a minute or two until the doordasher leaves the bag and goes back down the elevator. Then reach my Gollum arm out and grab the bag of food that's technically 3 servings but really all for my high ass.
Torontonian here - housing cost is out of control. News articles downplay it, saying "you only have to make 70k/year to live comfortably in Toronto". This is completely false. I lived this. 70k/year in Toronto might get you a bachelor apartment at 1700/month. Plus utilities, plus groceries, plus internet/phone (yes you need this in order to get a job anywhere). Plus saving for retirement.
tl;dr: unless you come from a wealthy family or are already significantly wealthy without having to rely on a job, Toronto is not an easy place to live. Beautiful, safe, and friendly, but at high cost. Job market is not great right now either. Companies are not all hiring remotely.
I'm not mad at the sad fries. They are not my first choice, but sometimes, you need a thicc soft sad potato wedge. It was necessary to acknowledge them.
I remember being a young adult (I'm 38 now) and hearing about anti-vaxxing in the media. In the early -mid 2000s Jenny McCarthy and I think a few other celebrities were on the "vaccines cause autism" train.
The fact that this is not a widely known and popular chip flavor makes no sense.
